Youth Strengthening Youth Program

Youth Council was created to continue the goal of YSYP to be "run for youth by youth." It is a self-governing body of students who are in charge with raising money and arranging community service projects for YSYP. Youth Council has a budget all their own to balance and to contribute to. The council is for youth in YSYP who want to take an extra step in serving the community. Previous fundraising projects include a luncheon banquet, a bowl-a-thon, car washes, and garage sales. Previous community service projects include making care packages for a women's shelter, river cleanup, and donations to families in need.
