What is the program?
NAYLC will train 100 immigrant and refugee youth leaders of color ages 15-24 in various areas of community leadership development with hands-on experience at the local and federal level on issues that matter to them.
What will I get as a Fellow?
15 weeks of weekly instruction on organizing work from leaders in the movement
All expenses paid trip to Las Vegas to present at the first-ever Youth Summit
A paid stipend (Amount TBD) to participate in the program
Hands-on Experience in advocacy with local organizations
Opportunity to partner with local NPNA organizations
What is the time commitment?
NAYLC fellows will be asked to commit 1.5 hours per week in a virtual learning environment along with 1 hour average of direct service with the Asian Pacific Development Center beginning April 3rd, 2021 until October 15th, 2021. If you are accepted, you must attend the program in its entirety.
Applications should be submitted no later than March 22nd, 2021.
