The Adult Education program is in need of classroom assistants during our ESL and citizenship classes on Zoom and in person. Classroom assistants are individuals who are available during scheduled ESL and citizenship class times to assist the teacher with small groups of learners, provide one-on-one student assistance, and other needs as requested by the instructor.

Currently, we need classroom assistants who are available during the following class times:

  • Monday-Thursday 9:00-11:30am

  • Monday-Thursday 12:00-2:30 pm

  • Monday-Thursday 6:00-8:30pm

Instructors are welcome to volunteer for as few or as many class times as they wish. We ask that all volunteers be available for at least one (2.5 hour) class per week for a minimum of ten weeks. Volunteers must be proficient using a computer and on Zoom and will be expected to utilize Breakout Rooms and share class materials on their screen. All volunteers must be extremely patient and flexible when working with our wonderful learners.
